Hi Rhonda; You may be right, but I learned on a brailler before a typewriter and I will not give it up for the world. Braille is a part of me. Most contractions come very easily to me. I have been using braille since second grade. If I am not sure of the contraction, I just spell it out. Spelling is my big problem. The keyboard does not matter when you spell phanetically.
