Hello Terry: Yes, you absolutely can record on any of the drives including on to the MPower's built in flashdisk. The MPower comes with 128 mb of onboard storage, so as long as you're not trying to record an entire symphony, you've got plenty of room. I like your application of the memo recording function here.
