Cathy! Why do you feel you are buying a used MPower?
Your message just doesn't make sense. The only thing used in the entire
unit would be the braille display and that was used by you. It isn't as if
you are getting one that someone selse had in their unit. Why would you
want to sell and why do you think a buyer wouldn't know what they were
getting? They would be getting an MPower that was transplanted with the
older braille display. How difficult is it to figure that out<grin>?
The only thing I can see so far is you are upset that lots of older circuit
boards and cases will have nowhere to go. As I say, your message just
doesn't make sense. People can get totally new hardware except for their
braille display, and totally new software and functionality and all that
for 2000 dollars instead of spending 6200 on a new one.
If they did spend 6200, the only thing they would ge getting that was
different is the newer braille display.
Pretty good deal if you ask me!
