Oh I forgot some of the bn design is still partly in the dark ages. If you are working on a pda/laptop you are not going to close it down then plug it in or unplug it and interupt your work flow. They are made to handle the powerload or possible sirge or there is compasitence in place to protect/help eliminate it.
