Hi John,

Yes, as Jeff said, try holding the C1 and C4 keys until the PK is powered down. Then press the C1 and C4 keys again after a while to turn the PK back on. Everything should be back again.

Hope this helps.

Albert

Subject: [Braillenote] the pk

hi Jeff I did try it but as nothing happens after the chime it goes dead if I had no voice surely the braille would come up.
very strange.
Just had a thought about my tuning file for next week.
if I put my flash card in my card reader I then could email my tuning file to a braille note user who then could put the file in to a text doc then email it back to me.
what a brain wave.
I am going to let the battery go real flat then put the charger in and try all the re-sets again. this though is a real problem until we get software on a flash card that we we can re-install. I am going to put all my tunings for the next month on my nokia 7610 but knowing my luck it will get stolen smile. thanks for getting back though I am always amazed how helpful this list is we are very lucky to have such a very good list.
thanks then.
