Okay,
Go to the options menu in GPS and make sure your POI folder is located
to where your pois are at. I.E. if your POI is on the compactflash card,
make sure its set to the compact flash card.
If so, make sure there are POI's in the folder. Make sure you
1. Downloaded the POI's for your states from the POI CD
2. Make sure if you did that you downloaded the files and not the
folders containing the POI's.

Subject: [Braillenote] GPS question

first off, thanks to all those that set me straight about the keysoft
6.1 and GPS 3.3 confusion. Guess there was a miscommunication between
the sales lady I spoke with at Humanware, who told me I was supposed to
get a 6.1 disc. But anyway... I installed my GPS 3.3, Hurrah, but have
come upon a problem. everytime I open the GPs program and try to run it,
I keep getting a message saying "could not open point of
interest.....".If anyone can tell me what this means, or better yet, how
to fix it, or where I should turn?
