Hi, all. Well, I've decided micro drives and the mPower cann't
peacefully co-exist. As I said the other day, Chris from Humanware
helped me get rid of my reset loop, and life was good. I got and
installed my GPS for the mPower, and decided to try it out
tonight. I couldn't get the receiver set for the proper type, so
decided to do a reset, which went fine. But then, without thinking,
while the micro drive was in the machine, I did a reset, got a
lockup, and now I've got my friendly reset loop back. So I'm
convinced my reset loop is caused by whatever happens to the files
when my micro drive locks the system up. I'm wondering if Dean or
Jonathan (or Chris, if you're on tonight) can write me privately and
tell me how to fix the loop again. I looked up the instructions
Joseph gave for uninstalling GPS, and that's kind of similar to what
we did; but Chris's instructions were a lot more involved, getting
rid of dictionaries and who knows what all. I don't normally take my
mPower to work, but will do so if that's what I have to to get rid of
the reset loop again; but if I can get the instructions to get rid
of the old files in Keysoft and start from scratch, it'd sure save
some hassle. In the meantime, I guess I'll be shopping for some CF
and SD cards.
