Hi Carol and Pam. The mPower certainly can work with both condenser and
dynamic microphones. In fact, plug a microphone/headset you can pick up
at any computer store into the mPower and you'll find it works well.
These are usually dynamic microphones. In general, any microphone
designed for connecting to a PC should work fine.
