I use a pair of five-dollar headphones with the BN. Music sounds fine with the BN volume at about 16 or so, but to hear speech I have to put the volume up to 32, and consequently when I yank out hte headphones the BN stars shouting at me and it freaks me out. Haha. It's funny though, and I don't really mind cranking up the volume on the BN as long as i can hear reasonably well with the headphones, which I can. Oh, and by the way, if any of you guys have to crank your volume to 32 with headphones, be sure to take them off before resetting, unless you want to get a coronary and be in pain. haha.
Cheers,
Caitlin

I have a pair of cheap Sony over the ear headphones that I use with
walkman players, but the BN doesn't drive them well. You have to crank
the volume way up to get an acceptable audio level through them. I find
that the BN works best with bud headphones, like the ones included, or
the ones that came with by Creative Labs Muvo MP3 player.
