Rusty:
When you have your BN as a display, you can't switch between programs on
the BN. To read text on the screens, you use your previous and next
thumb keys. The other two will read the tool bars and other menus. The
touch cursors do the same thing they always do, help with editing. As
for using your BN as a synth, you have to make sure active sync has the
box unchecked for serial port, you have to make sure the jaws drivers
are installed off the human ware web site, you have to hook up the unit,
do jaws key control s, select keynote speech and hit enter. Go to your
BN and hit r for remote synth and your set.

Subject: [Braillenote] BN bt as a speech synth and braille display

Hi folks,
I've just gotten my BN connected via cereal cable.
Currently, it's acting as a braille display.

I have two questions, first off, I'd also like it to work as a speech
synthesizer. How do I accomplish this?

Also, does any one have a succinct list of commands for using the bn as
a braille display? How can I read the entire line, switch between
programs ETC.

Thanks!
Rusty
