Hi Rusty. If you are using jfw. You will need to make sure that y0ou go to the humanware website and install the drivers so that it will work. Once this is done. You can load jaws once this is done if that is what you are using and on the Braille note go to main menu and press r. Your unit will say "Remote synthesizer ready." Now go to your jaws window and press ault l and chuse change synthesizer and Braille note will be in the list and oppress enter.
