Hi Kathy,

You got me on this one. [Smile] I can't imagine how one would make the help
system more simple and easy than it is. I can definitely see where it could be
worked on, the index could really use some cleaning up, and there are a few
documentation errors, but overall it seems to me to be the best of its kind. I
have never been much of a fan of the standard Windows help system, and the
BN/VN help system certainly puts it to shame. Would you mind satisfying my
curiosity and telling me what a better one would look like? What would make it
easier?
I use the regular find in the chapters of the manual and pretty much always
find what I want, eventually.

Sarah

How about a Braillenote SR with optional speech to select from so each could
choose the speech they can hear best, and 18 cell jumbo (or maybe even a bit
bigger ) braille, and a really simplified help system where you can search for
what you need with a search term rather than choosing from an index and needing
to remember what you need to know to find it.

With luck we are all getting older, and our need for cross challenge technology
keeps growing. Even with my rehab background, it has been somehow comforting
and encouraging for me to meet so many people here who share my increasing
hearing and touch problems. It's just nice not to be trying to solve the new
problems one encounters all alone.
