Hi Karen and list,

I'm having the same problem you are when recording at default levels.  Go into 
the setup menu and change the record level to 10 rather than 12.  This should 
fix your problem I think.  It will until you do a 4 5 6 reset and then you will 
be put back to default settings and you will have to set the record level back 
to ten.  Dar's unit works beautifully on the default settings so know there are 
issues with recording on some units like yours and mine.
