Hi all;
I wouldn't do it, just because it could happen, or the card might get stuck if,
for example, you're using braille.
What I do is write what the card contains in either a special folder I create
on the card for that purpose, or in the "none" folder on that card.
Most of my cards have books on them in subdirectories like Fiction or
Nonfiction or Magscats for magazines and catalogues.
The main folder I set up all these subdirectories in is called Library,
followed by a number that indicates how many cards I have.
For example, I am using a card now that is the 6th card on which I have a
library.
I have another card that is a 512 that has many different things on it,
including some folders where I save email messages that I want to hang on to
for a while while not cluttering up my flash disk.
I keep all the Bookshare zipped files that I download from Bookshare on this
card, and when I wish to read them, I open them in one of the subdirectories in
my current "Library" folder.
I haven't labeled the 512 yet, because it is usually in the side slot on my bn
through the use of an adapter.
