If you're talking about the application program option, which is one
of the choices under the utilities menu, it is used to install newer
versions of Keysoft. For example, the recently released 6.01
maintenance
release for the PK. Also, should one purchase the BN GPS program,
they
would have to go to the utilities/application program option to
install it.
