Kc: Many Isp's are in fact going that way. It makes a lot of sence from a business point of view because it reduces the demands on your network. If for example you had a e-mail come in to 10 people and the virus got a hold of 1000 peoples names from the address book and resent them. Well it doesn't take long until your getting hundreds of thousands blocking normal network traffic.

However, as I understand it, you can have help in blocking viruses at your ISP site. Of course, I use dial-up and it may be different. All I know is that, a few times, I've received the message that a virus was found in an incoming E-Mail and it was deleted at the Host cite.
