Graham:

Might not be a good idea to open that can of worms because lots of
people have wireless as well as routers with no firewalls.

I would like to make one thing really clear. I am not questioning in any
way shape or form HW's claim of no viruses. I am also not trying to
worry people because this is for the most part a closed system. However
everyone should always make sure that they do things in a responsible
way. There are several points of entry Bluetooth Wireless Ethernet and
your own pc.

The one thing I have learned through years of working with pc.'s is that
when you tell someone it can't be done somebody will do it just to prove
them wrong. If that weren't the case then why are there virus updates
nearly daily. Its not just bad programming from Microsoft its that there
are a lot of really clever people out there who get there kicks out of
doing things because they can. I would be willing to bet that nobody
ever thought that they would get a virus through a picture either but
they have.

This is my last on the subject because Hw. Does no what they are talking
about and because I am like the rest of you depending on that fact.

Many thanks for the feedback everybody. It seems the risks are low and
the most likely danger, althpugh it has not happened yet, is cross over
from viruses aimed at the mainstream handheld PCs.

I suppose bluetoothing might increase the risk there slightly.
