Well, route directory makes perfect sense to me. Referring to it as none makes no sense whatsoever. Thanks for the clear straightforward explanation.

Jean, the "none" folder is the root directory of the drive in
question.  I keep telling Humanware they need to get rid of this
childish, patronizing name of this thing and call it what it is.  It's
the root directory of the drive, where all the other folders start.
If you put a file in it, it is in no directory which is there, but in the root
directory.  Why they can't change the name to root instead of none is
beyond me.  It's the same amount of letters.  Same numbers of chars.
Call it what it is, don't patronize us!
