Hi. When I am done with wireless, I might actually go to the wireless menu
and disconnect, but I will definitely remove the card so save battery life.
I figure that even if the card is in the unit, it is drawing power.

But you know, there have been times I've spaced out and pulled out the
wireless card without turning it off first, and I think I disconnected
from wireless anyway. The connectivity menu can be brought up from
anywhere in KeySoft: from the appointment calendar, the main menu, even
from a prompt for a web URL in the browser (if you, like me, forget to
turn on wireless before trying to go to a website!). I've never used any
other type of wireless connection, so it's no biggie to me to turn on
wireless and then turn it off when I'm done, to save battery life.

So you can connect to the wireless system from the email or internet
area, but to disconnect you've got to go to connectivity. That is a truly
poorly planned hassle if that's the only way around the problem of
locking in the connection mode after the connection is lost at shut down.
BTW in this situation, when you've left everything back to the main menu
shut down then restarted and you go to connectivity to see what the
wireless status is, you get that it is connected, what it's called, then
the system locks up forcing the reset. Guess I'll ttry to remember to
meander off into space and disconnect before I shut down, but it sure
slows down a quick mail check.
