Just to add to Jim's message. I believe that the FCC has mandated all TV
channels to be available in digital by 2006. As for radio don't know
what the US policy is but I do know that all local stations am and fm
Here in Toronto are available in digital format already.

With TV going digital any time soon, I wouldn't waste my time on this.
Some FM stations will probably go digital as well.
