Hiall, I had posted a message on the list last weekend asking if I had to tell the braillenote what wireless connection I was using if I had already established a home network for my laptop or desktop. After I let the list know that it was a wireless connection, I didn't get an answer to my question or maybe I missd the post. So can anyone tell me how to set up braillenote wirelessly if I have already established a home network for my two computers. I bought the brailenote from someone and she has given me a wireless card.
Thanks. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Don Bishop Sent: Friday, October 21, 2005 10:01 PM To: Braillenote List Subject: Re: [Braillenote] A NEW WIRELESS USER HAVING DIFFICULTY As an addendum to my last message, actually, you should be able to use the same pop and smtp servers on the bn as you do with your email program. The bn shouldn't require any more or any less authentication than the program on your pc as they're really accessing the mail servers from the same place : your dsl line. So, I'd check the settings in your email for the correct servers and also for any authenticationstatus. You'd have to check with Verizon for that. I know you'll love that one. <smile> Actually you might be able to find it on their web site somewhere under email configuration or maybe their list of pop/smtp servers. Dinner is definitely important and should always be given high priority.
