Hi Sarai,

Glad you got Keynote working. My problem is that I can't get my BN to act as a
Braille display with Jaws, even though it works fine as a synth. Thanks all
the same.

>Hi guys!
>Well the subject line states it all. This totally rocks. You guys know
>how I feel about the jaws voice and Spanish, well I changed the synth
>language to Spanish and the BN read it in the awsom keynote Spanish
>voice that I love so much. Now if I can only talk HumanWare in to making
>keynote gold speech in to a screen reader. *grin* Okay I thank Chris for
>helping resolve this problem. Please note you have to have Multilanguage
>on your BN for it to read other languages.
> To the person and I think it was Sarah who couldn't get it to work,
>follow these instructions and let me know if it works:
>1. Install the driver put out by humanware.
>2. exit jaws and restart it.
>3. Turn on your BN and hit r for remote synthesizer
>4. Hit control jaws key s which brings up a box to choose your speech,
>the first is eloquence second is no speech, etc. Arrow down till you see
>keynote.
>5. Hit enter
>6. Move around on the key board and the BN should start talking.
>Notes:
>1. Make sure the visual display settings are off. Make sure the use
>serial port is not checked under active sync. Just remember to re check
>it when you want to sync something. Also remember to turn back on
>eloquence with the control jaws key s before exiting the remote synth.
>To turn on another language, do jaws key j then arrow down to synth
>language and choose the other language. You can also change voice
>settings the normal way you do with your jaws voices.
>I wish we could use the remote and the braille display at the same time.
>*grin*
