Yep, I first plugged in the BN and made sure it worked by putting it in remote 
synth mode and using the Keynote driver for Jaws.  Then I disconnected the port 
in ActiveSync.  I even uninstalled ActiveSync when everything didn't work.  
<LOL> Then I checked the settings in Jaws and BrailleNote was selected as the 
primary display.  Then I unloaded Jaws, put the BN in terminal mode, and 
reloaded Jaws, and got no Braille.  Bummer!
After all that, I performed all those steps with another computer and it worked 
like a charm.
Thank you so much for trying to help me solve this, I really appreciate it.  
It's got me at a total loss.
