Kathy, Humanware frowns upon exercising the display. that said it will do this until the battery goes flat or until the display breaks. this is why Humanware frowns upon this technique. I have never exercised my displays on the braillenote or otherwise and I use them extensively! I leave this kind of thing up to the professional. I can assure you that if you break this display by trying to self-repair, it is going to take a long, long time to get it fixed properly. It's your choice. Isaac
