I don't think the pac mate is audible ready.  It isn't listed as one of
their devices, though the book port and book courier are.  Audible makes
their files so they can only be played on certain players.  I'm hoping for
that to be one of the future improvements to the BN.  the MP3 players you
get with membership in audible don't seem to hold out too well.  well, the
two I've received have died in less than a year, anyway.  I'd rather not buy
something like a book courier, when I already have a braille note.

the Pac mate reads audoble books. but then the pac Mate is an open system 
and the BN is a closed system.

This seems really the long way roun, but the few books I've done it with
weren't able to just convert directly.Seems expensive and time consuming
though. It would really be nice if Humanware could talk to Audible.com and
do whatever it is to allow the braillenote series to read the audible.com
books directly. That would give a huge library of audio books.
