This was contrasted with the information that the pakmate had to be reloaded with its software if it lost all powr. I thought this odd, but was told by the sales people this was the case. Since the very first thing I managed to do with my voicenote was to let it run dry as it were, it's a good thing I recognized my shortcomings in my choice. Now can you varify this or no for me not that I'm gong to run out and sell my voicemate but just out of curiosity. > > > > I read in the manual for the voicenote that if you lose all power anything you have added to the system disk will be lost although the main installed stuff remains in tact. I thought this made it a funny place for a my documents foldr to be installed when I got the thingy, but was told it wasn't true. Now I"m not going to test it, but if someone knows for certain it would be a nice thing to have made clear. > > And since I've got your attention answering questions for me and so I don't have to originate another message, Is there a way to use my qwerty keyboard to input everything as if I was writing Braille? I can find settings for grade of braille when required, but haven't found a place that switches to braille input of data for overall io entry. > > > > ___ > > To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to > > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit > > http://list.humanware.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote > > > > > > ___ > To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit > http://list.humanware.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote >
