Hi Jim, Instead of pressing F from the support info menu, press R for 
recalibrate.  Just make sure the unit is plugged in, and it should take care of 
the rest.  It does sound like a few BrailleNotes might be acting strangely, 
though.

What does one do to get that I'm talking message?  I tried doing it the way 
one use to get that message and it beeps on my unit.  My wife is now 
getting a consistent message which is saying that the BN is unable to give 
an accurate percentage of how the battery is and it may need calibrating 
etc.  This is the first time I have seen this happen.
