Hello Kathleen:

First, I'm sorry for your frustration, but don't feel like your out here on your own. We've all gone through this experience with Humanware, the various ISP's, and the cell phone manufacturers. Each knows enough to get their particular part of the equasion working, but usually doesn't have a clue on connecting the rest. And, it sounds like you had some excellent help in the form of your son for technical assistance.

I'm assuming here that you're using some form of GPRS (Data service) with Singular. If you are getting connected, then you've probably got the correct phone number in play. I suspect the trouble lies in the extra modem string which you need in the communications configuration. Basically, you need to make a modem connection, then tell the phone/MPower combination what server to connect to. Ask Singular, if there needs to be an extra configuration string sent to the modem. It will or should look like a long string of letters probably beginning with at+

If you have that string correct, you'll need some kind of user name and password in the communications configuration to log onto those servers. These are usually dummy data, but for whatever reason, they are necissary.

Let me suggest that we get together via phone or relay if it would help and maybe we can work this through together. Contact me off list and we'll trade phone and time information .

Sorry I haven't been of more help prior to this point, but I'd be happy to keep working on it with you.

Jeff
