CIndy, KC here.
I've had my Bn since 2003. I've used dial-up from the beginning. After
my Mpower Transplant, it still worked. I didn't have a problem until I
tried using a Cell Phone!
Unfortunately, I still haven't r3esolved the issue as to WHY! (BLuetooth is
off and the cell phone returned with service form Cingular voided.)
The message I get, after the Mpower connects is "authenification error,"
and is disconnects.
My ISP is no help, although they claim there "may have been some changes"
to how the system works. It sounds weird! How can they change the
system without leaving a trial and notifying the user.? It sounds even
stranger that I used the Mpower and dial-up on Monday evening but could not
after contacting Humanware and doing what the Techniciian say to do! (As one
of the folks on this List is apt to say: "go figure!")
(I missmy BN like crqazy!)

KC,
Let me know if you ever get this to work. I have a different ISP but it
is dialup also and I could never get it to work.

Dear Jeff,
You were a bighelp! My problem is that I didn't want the
data service, only
the ability to dial-up to earthlink. SInce I had no clue
about what you
just told me, it bombed!
I'll be writing to you under separte message. Meantime, GOd bless.
Happy 2006 to you and your family.
