They already did, in a way.  compare the Bn, Pk and M-power.  You have 3 
machines that do different things and of different strengths.  The big 
difference is the PK can not emboss, but the other 2 can at different speads.  
There are many more differences, you just have to compair.  I sure am glad I 
waited until the m-power came along, because it has many features I am going to 
love.  The PK I would never want because of the tiny keyboard and losing the 
ability to emboss if I ever want to.  When I get my M-power and hopefully 7.0, 
I think I will have gotten the best of both worlds.  this is my Big Christmas 
present to me!
CAP got my original machine, but I can actually say I am paying for my own 
transplant!

    That wouldn't be fair to have to purchase a VoiceNote just to get all of 
that stuff.  Some of us really like our Braille and also want all of that 
stuff.  Maybe the solution would be to make two different models, one with 
all of the things you're talking about and one without.
