Hi katie, just to add to Dean's message, it isn't necessary to go into directory mode to get to subfolders if you don't want to. When you find a folder that has subfolders, just press space with dots 5-6. You'll find you are then presented with a list of subfolders. Space with dots 2-3 will take you back up a level.
On a long flight, I fill a 1 GB SD card with podcasts and it works great. I copied the "my received podcasts" folder from my pc onto an sd card. However, I find it extremely confusing that when one gets to the media player, in order to play the files which are inside folders, one has to enter into directory mode. Secondly, when I attempted to play one of the podcasts, it said the file type was invalid, but it was an mp3 file... so I don't know what that is all about. Then, I tried to play another file, and I kept getting the message "ran out of memory". However, there is like 400 some megs left on my sd card, so why is this happening? Honestly, all I want to do is be able to listen to my podcasts!!! I didn't know this would be such an ordeal!!!! Any help here? thanks Katie ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.humanware.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote
