Well, I've started the download with my PC, and it says saving and
estimated time left, etc., but nothing is filled in, as far as how
much is downloaded or how much is left to go, etc, so it looks like
the download hasn't really started. Hmmm. Pam, are you in California?

I downloaded the patch the other day for my wife's machine and it
went very quickly. I just started the download here and stopped it
at around 10 megs.
The download speed is much much slower here in California for some
reason, so sounds like the net is misbehaving again. It is
downloading though, it just
takes a while.

Hi folks,
I've just downloaded the patch here again and it's working fine for me.
Perhaps there is a problem with data transfer between the US and New
Zealand. I am just guessing on this one!

Subject: [Braillenote] Got an SD; download seems to stall
Hi, all. I got my SD card today, and have it formatted, and am now
trying to download the patch both from my 'puter and from the
BN. The download seems to start okay, then stall. On the BN, which
is just beeping away, It's been at 5 percent for several minutes. On
my 'puter, it's at 6 percent, and has downloaded 1.71, and appears to
have stalled. Any idea why neither of these attempts to download are
working?
