Hi: - A card reader is typically used for transferring a file from your PC
to a compact flash card. If I'm understanding you correctly, you actually
want to place the compact flash card into the back of your BN, and then you
can move that particular file by either going to the file manager and
arrowing down to move file and following the prompts, or within another menu
(i.e. word processor, media player, etc.) within the open file prompt select
the file you wish moved and press "read + control + m" and follow the
prompts. All the best. - Kim

Subject: [Braillenote] Computer audio file to a flash card

Hi, Joseph and list. Joseph, you've been very kind, patient and seem to
know your stuff. However, I need much more help, grin. I have a classic BT
18, and an assistive tech trainer coeated a folder in my E drive where my
flash card reader would find my files. He has created a folder called Audio
Files, with 20 audio tutorials within that folder. When I put the card into
the card reader, I'm not sure how to transfer one of the files from the
folder onto the flash card. Do I need to create a folder on the flash card,
or will it go into the None folder until I move it? I hardly use or like my
computer, and I'm trying to gain knowledge and respect for it again. I've
spent money on the updates, the computer, but I've mainly used my notetaker.
If as or any one of you knowledge people can give me explicit directions on
how this can be accomplished, I'd appreciate it. If you don't wish to share
this with the list, feel free to write me privately. However, I know that I
won't know wh at type of audio clarity I'll get till I try it, because I've
never really used the Mp3 file yet. I do use the planner and am learning
all the time about that.

Sherry, I've used my Br Note at severl hotels, and you write the 9 and the
comma in computer braille (the nine is 3-5 and the comma is dot 6. You can
go to the phone number as Sarah and Jim said, do a backspace c, write in
the 9 comma, the new number, space e and it will say "add new recoSay yes.
Thanks, folks, for any detailed help you can give me. I know that when I
get an m-power transplant or a new m-power I won'g have to worrz as much
about the quality of the audio files. I want to get the files on the flash
card first, grin. Nancy
