Do you have to type in dropped numbers? I don't think i've typed phone
numbers in like that before. And is it all together with no spaces?
thanks. I'm actually going to save this message as text and put it on one
of my CFC's and have it with my braille note from now on.

Hi Sherry,

I hope I remember this right from using 5.1. It's the same for 5.0 and 5.1.

Go to Key mail, into setup options, and into directory of services.
Choose the service you want to modify.
Press space until you come to the "phone number?" prompt, then press
backspace with c.
Put your cursor on the first number of the existing phone number, type dots
3-5, then type dot 6.
This should place a 9 and a comma in front of the phone number.
Finally, press space with e to add the record, then y to confirm changes,
then space with e again to exit.

Please let me know if this doesn't work or if you have any other questions.

Sarah

hi,

I'm going to be at a hotel starting tomorrow. I'm still using dial up and
have looked up the access numbers. But I always forget how to add the 9 for
dialing an outside line from within a hotel. i go through this every single
time I use my BN at a hotel! i can't ever find it in the manual either.
Could someone please send me the directions to add the 9 to the dial up
number, with a pause after the 9? Hopefully, that makes sense. I'm using a
BN BT keysoft version 5, I think, but I might reinstall 5.1 today before i
go. can't remember which version is more stable for email and don't want to
crash my unit like the last time.

thanks.

Sherry
