Hi Paul, The weird thing is that I can add a port, but the program picks the com port number. If I do that, it shows up in the combo box of possible ports, but there simply doesn't seem to be a way to select a port to be added or changed in the Belkin software.
Very strange and very frustrating. The other thing would be to try to get activesync to see this com18, but I haven't been able to figure out a way to do that either. It sees com 1 3 and 4 and that seems to be it as far as serial ports go. Sure wish I knew what was up with all the port assignments between com4 and com18. There must be a couple of logical assignments in there somewhere, but I can't find any of them showing up anywhere in the system.
