Hi mary Ellen, generally the longest continuous flight I take is about 13
hours, and I find that by the time I eat and maybe even sleep a bit, the
BrailleNote lasts me just fine. I then recharge between flights if there
is more than one. But I agree some kind of external battery pack for
extended use is a good idea and it is something our hardware engineers can
look into now that the initial issues with battery use are behind us.

RE: [BrailleNote] MPower issues

Either that or an airplane adapter.
I travel from Phoenix to Cincinnati a lot which is a 4 hour + flight: and
it would be so nice to be able to plug the unit in while flying.

I am really surprised they haven't come out with this considering how much
people like Jonathan travels and he and others are on such incredibly long
flights. Now see, yet another reason for removable batteries especially
for the pk, boys and girls at humanware.
Actually, Jonathan, I'd be interested to know what you do about the power
on your bn(s) when you are on such long flights, do you simply carry more
than one?
