Hi Janel,
  I definitely prefer my Voicenote mPower over my classic.  As others have 
stated, the processor speed is much faster.  I also enjoy listening to podcasts 
and streaming from the Internet, and you have more choices available to you 
when it comes to backing up data.  So, if you can, I would go for an mPower, 
because you won't regret it.
