If I remember right, the adapter for the units puts out around 12 volts. I
think there is a battery available that you charge, and then you set what
voltage you require, from 3 to 12. You then connect a cable to the battery
and the other end to your device using 1 of several connectors that are
included. Of course I have no idea if this would work, and I doubt humanware
would support it, but it's a thought. FOr me, the battery life is quite
sufficient.
