Hi, Paul, and etc.: same problems here. The battery is definitely the
MPower's weak spot. I have sent my battery log to Humanware 3 times now,
called twice and been put on hold for many many minutes, still no
suggestions have come my way.

was using the bn classic, I never left a flash card in the unit. Those do
make it drain faster.
The bn classic doesn't drain quite as fast as the MPower. In 12 hours, I
dropped six percent, from 18 to 12 percent. This was as of 11 pm last
night. Now, at almost 5:30 pm today, I am at nine percent and I have not
used the unit since last night other than to turn it on and check the
battery status.
So, I have almost dropped ten percent without doing anything.
The engineers at humanware say that my battery does not need replacing.

Perhaps the internal memory takes more than that in the classic bn.
