Sometimes I have to do the C3 and C4 reset several times before I can get asked if I want to create the partnership. But, eventually I can get the dialogue to come up and ask me. Sometimes just taking the USB cable in and out of the computer after you here the two trying to connect helps, while other times the c3 and c4 reset works. I've only had to do the 4 5 6 reset once to get things to work, as I just got tired of doing the c3 and c4 one that time. Also, on at least some occasions, I've read on other lists where folks are having the same problem with connecting via USB with their device. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Julie Stamm" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Braillenote List" <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, December 14, 2005 10:34 PM Subject: Re: [Braillenote] serious braille note problem
i tried the c1 c4 reset it seems to be working ok, but when i plug in the usb cable, a pop up appears on the computer saying a problem occured and your hardware might not work properly. when i try to connect to activesync now, the pk and computer both make noise which means they recognise each other, but they never get to the point where it asks if i want to create a partnership. im beginning to think there is something wrong with the internal workings of this pk.... julie On 12/14/05, Vicky Collins <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Hi Julie, > > I've never quite had that problem, although I have had trouble connecting > to > ActiveSync via USB with my PK from time to time.
