That bothered me as well regarding Dean's message. I guess they are just
trying to obey the letter of the law and I completely understand that. But,
I for one, would have not paid for a new sticker when I already had 6.11.
No way. Talk about being screwed?
If I had lost mine, I just wouldn't have mentioned it. I suppose humanware
would have noticed it if I had sent in my unit for repair. But if they are
so concerned, and according to the law they should be; then let them do
something that makes that sticker easy to find and let them give a
certificate of authentication as sighted folks get with their microsoft
purchases. When I purchase something from microsoft, I don't get some tiny
sticker I have to affix to my computer. Why should it be with a braille note?

I for one was disgusted with the way Theresa was answered last
night. Basically, the message sounded like, "too bad" you lost it, you
have to pay for it.
Sighted people could have lost that same little tiny piece of
stamp-looking paper. I know many sighted people who do. I'm just glad,
Theresa, that you found it.
