HI. Itonly works with JFW version 6.1 and above under XP. It use to
work under Win 98, which is probably why it used to work for you.

All the best,

Chris.

What about updating jaws to 6.2.

I did that, performed both a repair and a re-modify on Jaws,
reinstalling the Braille drivers for the BN. I tried this with both
Jaws v4.51 and v6.0. The two PCs are virtually identical, Both Dells
with the same processor, RAM, disk space, operating system and version
of Jaws. The really weird part is that it used to work, and I don't
know what I could have done to break it. The only other thing I can
think of to try is to use a Usb to serial converter. If that works I'll
know I have a partially functional serial port. Thank you for all the
suggestions, and any other you or anyone else might happen to have.

>>>Hi guys!
>>>Well the subject line states it all. This totally rocks. You guys
>>>know

>>>how I feel about the jaws voice and Spanish, well I changed the synth

>>>Chris for helping resolve this problem. Please note you have to have
