They call back, but it is sort of like the UPS thing the other day, I am
expected to stay home near a phone waiting!

Rose,
I wonder why the whole world thinks we all have nothing better to do than
call people trying to deal with problems. As far as I can tell this is just
life, and frankly it doesn't really work. <ironic smile> It isn't just
humanware its a problem everywhere. I could write a book on stupid phone
tag games I've had to play just to get very normal things done. It's not
just you in case that is any comfort. My story about moving and getting my
highspeed Internet service set up is probably one of the best examples of
stupidity, which is funny in it's sheer ridiculousness now, but wasn't very
amusing to me at the time. Let me know if you actually want to hear it. :-)

Of more practical use to you might be the information that Humanware will
let you leave a voice mail instead of waiting on hold to talk to someone.
They claim they will call back in 24 hours, and in my experience that is
true. It might take them up to 23 hours, but they will call back, which is
a lot more than I can say about most companies. :-)

  I have one question?

Why is it always assumed that everyone has time to play phone tag with
HumanWare? I certainly do not have that kind of time, the interruptions
if
I call from work are not appreciated by my employer/manager. Calling is
not
a quick fix, or at least in the past couple of years it has not been for
me.

I say that and have to tell you that my only calls to HumanWare in the
past
three years have regarded obtaining service agreements and SMA, or setting
up my transplant for one unit. I certainly can generally find answers to
my
other technical issues faster from the list or reading the manual.

Still, I always find myself getting tied up in knots when I call and then
have to wait hours to days for a return call.
