Yeah, maybe next time I go away for 10 days, if I have two hundred
something messages in the junk folder, I'll see if someone wants me to
forward those messages to them so they can take a look at them. Or maybe I
could bounce some of them to my address that I only use the BN with, to see
if they show up. It's just interesting that they all seemed to come in
once I got to my regular PC and Eudora. So I wonder if somehow these
messages only go to regular type connections and not unique connections
with different types of machines. Who knows?

I agree!
What I'd do is catalog these and see if Dean or someone at Humanware would
want to look at them. Perhaps they can find a way to deal with them so
you no longer have this problem when you are away!

Actually, I don't have my BN set to leave messages on the server, and I
was the one who told Dar about hitting the letter r to get past that
pesky "not enough memory" thing. So I'm wondering if perhaps there are
messages that only come to our servers when we log in with a Windows
machine rather than something built on Windows CE but running its own
kind of software. It's like my junk mail all stacked up and didn't
download completely until I used my PC, although I did get and delete
some junk mail on my trip. This could present a problem to someone who
exclusively uses a BN to do email, if there are messages that accumulate
on the server that the BN doesn't download. But maybe these hundreds of
junk messages only come to someone logged on with Windows XP or 98 or
whatever. It's just weird when I go on vacation but check mail
frequently with the BN, to then come home and have two hundred something
junk emails.

Hi Peggy,
Messages will back up if you have your receive options set to leave
messages on the server when using your BN. If you have been deleting
messages from the server in your receive options, it may be a question
of some messages not being removed when you skip messages you couldn't
download such as those mime messages I referred to in the past. Of
course, Dar found a way to deal with those on the BN. When you get
home, you can use your PC for certain to remove all messages.

Hi, all. I'm just wondering: Are there messages that don't download
with the BN? Usually if I don't download for a while, I have about a
hundred thirty-something messages in the BN. Today when I got home and
dealt with all the messages in my folders, I looked in my junk folder
and there were 236 messages there. It was totally cleared out before I
went on vacation ten days ago. So I'm wondering if Windows or
Earthlink or Eudora or something senses when I'm in Windows XP as
opposed to Keymail, and sends additional junk that wouldn't come my way
with just the BN. Thoughts?
