I was one of the first people on the list to get my braille display
transplanted from my old calssic braillenote into an mpower and I have not
regretted it one minute. Given the faster processor, 8 times more storage
space on the internal flash disk, the ability to listen to audio files in
sterio, the audio recording fuctionality, access to usb devices, access to
bluetooth devices such as bluetooth gps receivers, the ability to store data
on sd cards, and better web browsing along with the ability to listen to
streaming audio, I couldn't resist. Even with all that said, there is more
the braille note offers. When I was a student last semester, I was sitting
in class next to another blind student who had forgotten his braille lite.
He needed to use a braille display to read his notes for his presentation.
Well, he had his presentation on his laptop. I told him to email the
presentation to me which he did, received the email on my braille note with
the attached file, and gave him my braille note to read his notes during his
presentation all because of the great email handling and the wirless access
available in the braille note mpower. I've just found so many uses for my
braille note mpower such as connecting to the internet via bluetooth with my
cell phone while away from home and the office where wireless internet is
available. Not only that, but the additional features coming in keysoft 7
just amazes me especially when I look at where the braille note was a year
ago at this time. So, I am extremely glad I when ahead with the upgrade to
the mpower and wouldn't ever think about looking back.

Hi,
I have a quick question for those of you that have upgraded from the
Classic to the MPower.
Do you wish that you would have stuck with the Classic? I am reading about
so many issues. If I could afford it, I was really thinking about buying
myself an MPower one day, but listening to all of those issues, really makes
me think.
Just asking,
Janel
