Not according to the folks at humanware. When we were talking about the Igo last year, it was even stated by someone at humanware that if you used an Igo on your braille note you could possibly damage the battery. They also stated that using one would void the warranty. In my mind, it was a use it at your own risk. We never got an answer as to whether there was a better car/plane charger for the unit that was safer and wouldn't void the waranty.
As always, I am open to suggestions from humanware staff on this subject.

I saw a charger at Costco for laptops, dvd players, ipods, etc. I wonder if
it would work for the bn, especially the MPower as it uses a battery with a
higher amperage.
I know radio shack also sells the igo in two flavors. I wonder if either of
these would work. The one at costco was made by a company that manufactures
a lot of computer equipment. Don't remember the name right now.
I think it was Kensington. It was around 80 dollars or more and had a lot of
tips.
