Hi, Caro. I got calibration to start by making sure the bn was lower than 90 percent before I started. I do hear battery low a number of times, but don't think I have ever heard battery critical I will have to watch for that next time. In both cases, I got calibration to start; once at 90 and once at 53. I wonder if there is a problem if you are charging then in the midst of that decide to calibrate the battery? I wonder if you need to unplug the adapter and plug it in again and then start calibration. It could be something like that. On my first attempt, I did drop the bn to 90 playing on the web then immediately plugged in the adapter and started the calibration process. That's when I got the rapid clicking sound when the talking died. It continued that all night and in the morning was still at 11 percent. I charged it to 53 percent then without unplugging, started the calibration. I wonder if that caused it to reset that time? Now that at least three of us have the problem, I don't feel so bad. I don't really want to spend 60 dollars to send my bn in when I have only had it for a month if I don't have to<grin>.

How long are you getting after a "Battery Low" warning? Do you hear the
"Battery Critical" warning. We get thrown out either immediately the
"Battery Low" sounds or even before that, perhaps. I have no real idea
at what percentage it's dying yet and I still can't calibrate.

I know you had trouble getting calibration to start. Can you recall at
what point of the battery cycle you actually achieved this?

Hi, Carol. I agree. Probably not worth sending the unit in. Just more of
an
annoyance. I still can get it charged to 100 percent and as long as you
know the battery dies at just under ten percent, you know what to
expect.
Also,
losing that ten percent means that you will not get 10 to 12 hours of
use
out of an MPower. Again, not a big deal as long as you are aware of it.
It
just means you have to charge up more often.
It would be nice if these guys would come out with a car charger or some

kind of external battery charger.
