Miranda,

There are countless speech devices out there, dec talk, double talk, Keynote Gold which is what most BN family of products use real speak, eliquence is what JFW and Window Eyes use. A number of us like myself enjoy the Keynote Gold Speech in the BN. It seems to be very accurate. Others enjoy eliquence more however. Keysoft 7.0 will give the user a joyce between the two speech systems. This is the first time a person has a choice of which speech to use on a notetaker or one can use the braille display if they so choose. That is if one has a BN model with display or the PK. You would do well to look up the various notetakers on the Humanware site if you haven't done so already. I can tell you one cannot print or emboss with the PK. One can transfer files to another device for printing or embossing. You need to write to someone who has the PK if you need to know what can and cannot work with that particular notetaker. I can speak to the older Braillenote and the M-power though.

Hi!
So, what is Keynote Gold based from. And, why didn't they use the voice of
Jaws with Keynote 7?
I guess I don't understand where the voice of Keynote Gold came from and I
guess I don't understand the difference of using Eliquence and using Jaws
itself.
Any help in understanding this would be greatly appreciated.
