Hi Michelle, yes you could use Hyperterminal on a PC and achieve the same
thing.

RE: [Braillenote] mPower

Thanks, Jonathon! Will the KeySoft7 software also work with a computer?
I'm not sure the teacher has a Palm, but I'll ask. Michelle

Hi Michele, the BrailleNote mPower is the latest model with more
sophisticated hardware, so as time passes, the BrailleNote mPower will be
able to do more than the older units. Additionally, I think the visual
display functionality could make a real difference to the teachers of a
second grader. With the BrailleNote mPower running KeySoft 7, a sighted
teacher can use a Palm running our viewer software to see in real time
what the student is writing. Because it can use Bluetooth, the student can

be up to 30 feet away from the teacher.

Can anyone tell me what the major advantages of an mPower over a
Braillenote
BT32 would be for a 2nd grader?

Thanks!

Michelle
