This takes the cake. I have not tried to do this yet, figured it can wait
until Friday when I will have time but last week I called HumanWare and they
told me that all the updating of the database is done in New Zealand. They
could give me no information. In this day of computer technology this seems
strange to me, and I was also told that New Zealand has been off for several
weeks which means that someone somewhere should have been doing these
updates.

I don't know what someone was thinking, or not thinking but this is
annoying. I suppose I'd better be sure I can't get a key and jump on the
bandwagon with e-mail to whomever.

Is this the way to treat loyal customers? Thank goodness this is such a
superior product, my experiences of late with a transplant that took seven
weeks, my inability to get a straight answer on SMA status from the website
or a human and now this snag would make me consider that my business is not
wanted, however, I don't think there is a better product out there for what
I want and need.

Off to check the website so that when Friday comes and I have more than a
few minutes I may be able to do the upgrade on the transplant. .

Hi Pam, you're not the only one. I can download the update files
themselves, but there is no product key for v7. Hmmm.

Well gosh, I hate to be the first one to post of a snag with the process,
but were all of the product keys uploaded prior to the announcement of the
release? Because the only thing available for me when I log in is 6.2. I
did send an email to sma at humanware per the instructions, but have done
this in the past with no response from that address. So I hope it was
received. Thanks.

Pam
